is an emerging multidisciplinary designer trained in architecture. She works from the unceded and ancestral lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations, otherwise known as ‘Vancouver’. Using the body as a vessel and the face as a site she is interested in exploring our collective posthuman and somatic futures. Specifically of mixed Czech-Cantonese-Vietnamese heritage and as a feminine East-Asian presenting womxn, the fields which influence her work encompass ornamentalism, embodiment, critical studies, and science-fiction. Her work has recently been exhibited at the Bachir/Yerex Presentation Space (2022), Design at Riverside Gallery (2022), Stackt Market (2021), and the Art Gallery of Peterborough (2020).

I seek out blasphemous composed surrealism to construct new senses of the embodied and the sacred.

Grounding myself in performance and installation art as mediums, I circle the idea of identity via its racialized, gendered, and technological lines. There are edges to identification which my lived reality has been governed by without my consent: subject/object, ornament/person, commodity/human. I sift through the space between these markers to carve out a place to call home. Belonging to myself and my own body[s] history.
