The photos capture a fleeting moment for the participants, suspended in motion, in the light of their pulses, within the void darkness.

︎︎︎ Interactive Installation Project

Fever Dream documents an interative experience involving 3-4 people. Utilizing spoken word, pulse sensors, light modulation, and digital interfaces [masks], the work explores ideas of liminal communality [being in-between together] in a controlled setting. Microcontrollers adjusted the light to flash in syncronicity with the wearers heartbeat. The rhythms of the heart, broadcast by the light, furthered a feeling of disorientation and transformation shared between the people in the group as they generated this space using their bodies together.
